Hand turned to create a shallow traditionally shaped bowl with several natural cracks. This bowl is relatively light in the hand and silky smooth to the touch, with an unusually warped shape - a result of turning the wood whilst wet and allowing it to dry and warp, giving it a natural rustic look. Finished with 100% tung oil to darken the wood, highlight the beauty of the grain, and to improve durability. This bowl measures 24.5cm at its widest point, 6.5cm tall, and 5cm deep. Perfect for use as a fruit bowl or as home decor. Made from apple sourced locally, and processed fully by myself.
