Hand turned from a highly patterned wood called spalted beech, the eye catching markings are a result of a natural process where fallen beech trees are left to grow certain fungi which colourizes the wood, leaving a unique pattern that can't be replicated the same twice. This extra large piece of beech has been turned to form a traditional fruit bowl shape with a thin edge.
 
Finished with a natural mineral oil to nourish and enhance the beauty of the wood.
 
This bowl measures 32cm wide, 9cm tall and 7.5cm deep.
