A unique decorative wooden fruit bowl, handmade with specialist tools from strong English beech to create a shallow fruit bowl with curvy modern sides and a thin even edge. This wooden bowl is moderately light in the hand relative to its size and beautifully silky smooth to the touch. Finished with 100% pure tung oil to darken the natural rich colour whilst highlighting the beauty of the grain and improving durability. This fruit bowl measures 23cm wide, just over 4cm tall, and 3cm deep.

English beech, locally sourced from well managed sustainable woodlands found in a small village in Devon. Beech is a stunning light brown coloured wood with hints of orange. With a straight, closed grain, giving it a strong surface, beech is often used for kitchen utensils and cabinetry - giving it a permanent place in my workshop.
