Hand turned to create a small bowl designed for small items such as keys, it has a gentle curvy shape and a thin but sturdy profile. Silky smooth to the touch and lightweight in the hand, this bowl features a wavy live edge and distinct separation of the grain. Finished with a food safe hard wax oil to highlight the beauty of the grain and to improve durability. This bowl measures just over 14cm wide, 9.5cm tall, and 8.5cm deep. Perfect for use as a key bowl or decor around the home.
 
Rich English elm, known for its striking interlocked grain and warm, honeyed tones. Elm’s natural durability, water resistance, and subtle sheen make it a favourite for fine woodcraft and boat building, offering both beauty and strength in equal measure. Although harder to come by, this combination makes it a perfect addition to my workshop.
