Hand turned from part of the outside and heartwood to create a uniquely shaped bowl with a large foot, and an eye catching warp, and a deep rich colour. This bowl is light in the hand and silky smooth. Finished with 100% tung oil to darken the wood, help highlight the beauty of the grain, and to improve durability against scratches and stains. This bowl measures 17.5cm at its widest point, 7.5cm tall, and 6cm deep. Perfect for use as home decor. Made from apple sourced locally, and processed fully in my workshop.

Apple wood is a highly prized hardwood, valued for its rich colour, fine grain, and exceptional durability. Freshly worked, it displays warm golden and pinkish-brown tones that gradually deepen over time into a rich honey brown. Its tight even grain creates a smooth finish, making it the perfect choice for wooden bowls and spoons.
